Calibrating Screen Ruler Professional
The very first thing you should do after installing the program is to calibrate the tool to work with your screens. Here is a quick guided tour:
1) Right-click on the ruler to open the menu; Click “Preferences”:
2) In the “Preferences” window, select the “Displays” tab:
3) Click “Detect Displays” button:
4) Select the screen you want to calibrate from the list in the left:
5) Set the diagonal of the selected screen. Be sure to enter the exact diagonal here (if the screen diagonal is 15.1″, enter 15.1 in the “In” field):
6) Click in some other field to enable the button bellow (“Save to Display…”) Click the “Set to Display” button to set the dots-per-inch value:
7) Click “OK” to close the properties window
